This band is fantastic. They evolved into more of a Graveyard or Witchcraft doomy blues-rock sound, but on this, their debut, they had one foot firmly planted in metal. I think I didn’t buy this one a long time ago because I was so caught up in their other albums, but having revisited it I think I like it the best. The harder edge lends new weight to the desert/stoner genre at large. Lute FP
Bunsenburner works from a base of stoner metal but expands far past it, incorporating long, searching, searing jams. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 12, 2023

6.5/10 | While the riffs are tasty and the groove is heavy, the record does in the long run suffer from repetitiveness. The vocals are average and a little weak on the clean parts at times but that's up to taste, I got used to it. It isn't a record I put on and listen to all the way through, but individual songs are bangers. Dunkler Meister
